Presenter: Jim McKay, Public Policy Director, National Alliance of Children’s Trust and Prevention Funds, Washington, D.C.

 

Description: Advocacy can be intimidating, but it is crucial that policymakers hear from people who care about children. Using a fun approach based on the Wizard of Oz, this session features strategies to build grassroots support, advocate for policies effectively, and to excel at media interviews.
